Located in Masham, North Yorkshire, Black Sheep is a brewery full of soul, with a rich history and an innovative future. We were commissioned to build a new eCommerce website to showcase their products and increase online sales.

THE OBJECTIVE

The Black Sheep Brewery’s previous website suffered from a poor user experience. Frustrated visitors struggled to find important information or buy from the online shop.

Our brief was to design and build an engaging, user-friendly website. It had to be fast, with easy access to content and online buying, particularly from mobile devices.

OUR SOLUTION

A great user experience was key to the success of the new site.

Thanks to our clean, new design and bespoke development in Woo Commerce, customers can now choose their products and checkout in just a few clicks. This super-fast user experience has seen a considerable increase in online sales.

Whilst Black Sheep provided some fantastic photos of their brewery and visitor centre, the product images proved to be more challenging.

Dan (our Head of Creative) has helped Black Sheep design and launch a huge range of products over the last five years. He was the ideal person to design the new website and over 100 product visuals to go on it.

THE RESULT

Since its launch, our new Black Sheep website has delivered some very impressive results.

  • 49% increase in sales from mobile devices.
  • 33% increase in traffic from mobile devices.
We're absolutely delighted with our new website. Online sales have increased dramatically. Also, people who want to visit us can now find the information they need on the site, rather than having to call our staff.
