Learning about Web3

Yesterday, Darren Hickey (our MD) attended the Agencynomics 3.0 – Change is Coming event in London, which focused on Web3.

This is a new, exciting phase of the internet which we’re keen to learn more about. There were some fantastic presentations by leading experts which covered many Web3 areas such as:

• Blockchain
• Tokens
• Smart contracts
• Dapps (Decentralized Applications)
• NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens)
• DeFi (Decentralised Finance)
• DAOs (Decentralised Autonomous Organisations)
• and, of course, The Metaverse.

Over the coming months, our team will explore some of these areas in more detail. In particular, we’re keen to see if we can identify any opportunities Web3 may offer our clients.
