Fellowship

Our Client Services Director, Matt Johnson, will be running the London Marathon on Sunday 23 April. His chosen charity is Tommy’s, the UK’s largest pregnancy and baby loss support charity.

We’re wishing Matt a smooth and pain free event. A seasoned runner, he’s been training hard and hopes to make it round in a good time, as well as raising lots of money. If you’d like to make a donation, please do so on Matt’s Just Giving page at bit.ly/mattlondonmarathon

To help boost Matt’s total, we’re holding a coffee and cake morning at our office on Wednesday 19 April from 10.30am. There’ll be lots of lovely home baked cakes – do feel free to drop in and join in the fundraising fun.

Fellowship

A few months ago, Jaye Dry from Conversion Communications came to us with a multisite project for CSO Marine Group, a strategic solutions provider for the offshore energy and marine renewables sector.

They needed to integrate three outdated and inaccessible websites with their parent website, in a way that could be quickly and efficiently updated.

We provided them with a cohesive design with three key aims:

  1. Increasing brand awareness.
  2. Improving each company’s online presence with responsive and accessible websites.
  3. Improved user journeys to generate more leads and increase sign ups and sales.

The Fellowship team went out for an evening of festive fun at the Giggling Squid in Bury St Edmunds.

We enjoyed some good food, great company and shared some entertaining Secret Santa gifts, with Callum's Beard Lights the highlight!

We also had some fun at the expense of Greg, our web designer, who took it all in good spirit.

Yesterday, Darren & Matt had meetings in Norwich with two amazing agencies, Fountain Partnership and Quickfire Digital.

Even though there are 19 of us, we can’t specialise in everything digital. Our deepest expertise lies in WordPress, WooCommerce, website integrations and bespoke development.

Fountain are experts in digital marketing, while Quickfire Digital are specialists in Shopify websites.

Our company name, Fellowship, means "A group of people with a shared purpose.”

Ours is to help businesses grow. This doesn’t just apply to clients but also to partners who share our ambitions, values and standards.

Fellowship

It’s three years since Rubious became part of Fellowship, adding three new staff and a wealth of additional knowledge and talent to our team.

Greg Goodson joined us as Lead Web/UX Designer, David Ashcroft as Web Developer and Callum Hubert as Web Designer/Developer.
The merger also brought us a range of new clients, including SaveMoneyCutCarbon, Stanley Gibbons, Inform Direct and Shelbourne Reynolds.

When Rubious joined us that took our team to 11 people. There are now 19 of us.

As our clients keep growing in size and number, we keep growing to ensure they get the quality and range of services they deserve.

What will the next three years bring?

Yesterday, Darren Hickey (our MD) attended the Agencynomics 3.0 – Change is Coming event in London, which focused on Web3.

This is a new, exciting phase of the internet which we're keen to learn more about. There were some fantastic presentations by leading experts which covered many Web3 areas such as:

  • Blockchain
  • Tokens
  • Smart contracts
  • Dapps (Decentralized Applications)
  • NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens)
  • DeFi (Decentralised Finance)
  • DAOs (Decentralised Autonomous Organisations)
  • and, of course, The Metaverse.

Over the coming months, our team will explore some of these areas in more detail. In particular, we’re keen to see if we can identify any opportunities Web3 may offer our clients.
