Fellowship is an award-winning web design and development agency based in Suffolk, just outside Bury St. Edmunds (40 minutes from Cambridge & 30 minutes from Ipswich). Working with SMEs, multinationals and global groups, we specialise in enterprise level WordPress, Multisite and WooCommerce website

The Role

As we enter an exciting new chapter for our business, we are seeking a Marketing Manager to join our team of 18 and play a pivotal role in leading the delivery of our agency’s own marketing.

The Marketing Manager is a new post, reporting to the MD. The key purpose of this role is to build the Fellowship brand, attracting new clients to our agency.

The successful candidate will have strong design and marketing skills, be familiar with key marketing principles, be highly organised and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the wider agency team & lead the delivery of the agency’s own marketing materials and content output
  • Continue to develop and execute our marketing strategy
  • Design marketing assets and materials for both online & print use, using the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Update & create new pages / content, on our agency WordPress website
  • Producing and posting regular, high quality content across a range of channels including LinkedIn. Also, actively engaging in industry related content.
  • Ensure marketing delivery admin systems reflect current campaign activities
  • Create and publish compelling written content for various platforms, primarily including social media, blogs, case studies and email marketing
  • SEO – Research and optimise content for search engines to enhance organic visibility and increase website traffic
  • Paid Advertising – Manage LinkedIn paid ad campaigns & complete training as necessary. There may also be a future need to run Google Ad campaigns & complete associated training if necessary
  • Analyse and report on marketing KPIs including the website and social media
  • Attend occasional industry-relevant events, which may fall outside of standard office hours
  • Liaise with sponsors and create related marketing materials
  • Think strategically and creatively to develop innovative marketing campaigns that reach target audiences and achieve desired outcomes
  • Align with Fellowship’s company values and reflect these in your day-to-day work
  • Stay ahead of the curve on marketing trends and technologies, such as AI, continuously exploring new ways to improve our agency marketing
  • Proactively identify opportunities to leverage the Fellowship network for business development and strategic partnerships

Skills and Experience – Essential

  • Proven success in developing, implementing and monitoring successful marketing content / campaigns
  • Considerable experience in graphic design for both digital & print purposes
  • Proficient in using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • A basic understanding of SEO
  • Proficient with Google Analytics
  • Previous experience running Paid Ad campaigns or a keen interest to train & develop in this area
  • Experience updating website content via the WordPress CMS
  • An autonomous working style with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team as required
  • A desire to embrace new skills and challenges
  • Very organised with strong attention to detail
  • Able to write compelling and grammatically correct copy, communicate persuasively and deliver engaging presentation

Skills and Experience – Desirable

  • Proven experience in a marketing related role within an agency environment
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to create reports presenting data clearly
  • Experience in producing optimised content for SEO
  • Experience in motion graphics software
  • Email marketing campaign management & set-up experience
  • Up to date knowledge & understanding of WordPress and WooCommerce websites
  • Experience in organising events

What we offer

  • Flexible working hours as required (standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am – 5:30pm) and the possibility of a part time role considered
  • Salary from £25,000 to £35,000, depending on experience and working hours
  • Hybrid working – 2 days working from home per week after settling into the role
